Opinions & Questions
AB 12 has the potential to transform the California child welfare system to better serve foster youth struggling to become self-sufficient adults, as well as to better support the relative caregivers who are taking in an ever greater percentage of California’s foster youth. We want to hear your ideas about how the bill will benefit California’s foster children and youth—ideas drawn from your personal or professional experience, your values and opinions, or from your reading of the growing body of research supporting the bill’s key provisions.
AB 12 is also complex, and we welcome your questions about its intent and design or about the Fostering Connections to Success Coalition in general. We’ll do all we can to answer quickly and clearly.
