About the Project

The John Burton Foundation has created www.cafosteringconnections.org to provide timely information about the implementation of Assembly Bill 12, the California Fostering Connections to Success Act. AB 12 was signed into law on September 30, 2010. By continuing with the California Fostering Connections Project, our goal is to provide ongoing, timely information about the policy and practice issues related to the bill’s implementation.

The John Burton Foundation was an organizational sponsor of AB 12, together with:
